About Ramen District

Modern ramen with lighter, healthier broths. Featuring our signature pork belly, pickled eggs, and vegetarian kale noodles.

Ramen District is a ramen in Long Beach, California. It is listed at 456 Elm Ave, Long Beach, CA 90802, which places it among the local businesses of Long Beach that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Long Beach, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–2:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (562) 951-7181. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, ramendistrictlb.com.

It has a Google rating of 2.5 out of 5, though from only 4 reviews so far, so treat the score as an early indication rather than a verdict.

Long Beach is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Long Beach is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Don’t bother with this place. I received the order confirmation number, my receipt and it said order submitted/ received. The only thing pending was the pick up time. I waited 20 minutes, nothing. I called and the guy on the phone had to go β€œspeak to the other restaurant” that carried the order. Gave them my name and phone number and called me back. Apparently there was no order under my name? I offered to give the order number- he wouldn’t accept it. I asked to speak to the main restaurant or get their number and he refused. So I paid, had an order confirmation, etc and there’s just β€œnothing we can do about it, maybe submit another order” yea right.
